Who we are

This website, leaseplaybook.com, is operated by Paul B. Barton, LLC. Questions about this policy can be sent to paul@olsenbarton.com.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. If you send a message through the contact page, we receive what you submit: your name, email address, optional phone number, the role you select, and your message. We use it to respond to you, and for no other purpose. Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, and delivered to us by email.

Clause Coach. Language you paste into the Clause Coach is transmitted to Anthropic, an AI provider, to generate the evaluation, subject to Anthropic’s data handling terms. We do not store your submission, and we ask you not to include confidential or identifying information. The tool also collects your approximate submission time and IP address transiently for rate-limiting.

Hosting logs. Like nearly every website, our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operations.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful: for example, which guides are read and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type, subject to Google’s privacy policy. We have disabled the optional settings that would share this data with Google for its own purposes. To opt out of Google Analytics across the web, you can use Google’s browser opt-out.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above, who process it to run this site. We do not use your Clause Coach submissions to train any model or build any database.

Third-party services

This site uses Netlify (hosting and form processing), Anthropic (Clause Coach evaluations), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy), and Google Fonts (typefaces, served from Google’s servers). Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function.

Your choices

You can use every guide on this site without submitting any information. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, email paul@olsenbarton.com.
